Our national beer. With its extraordinary flavour and unique colour, you won’t find anything like it. Gorgory is brewed with the best ingredients you can find on our island. Brewed with barley, hops, water, yeast and wheatgrass, to give it a nice green colour. The beer has an alcohol percentage of 17 %.  Gorgory has a bitter taste and a nice clarity.

Our beer is made in 2 breweries. The oldest brewery can be found in the northern part of the country.  This brewery was founded 150 years ago to celebrate the independence of our country. A second brewery was founded in the south to keep up with demand, because the beer is so popular. The tradition and way of brewing is the same in both breweries.

Our beer is available at every feast and on every market in Merek. The price for a pint of beer at one of our feasts costs 300 MRK. If you buy a pint of beer at the market it will cost you 175 MRK.

We also export our national product to other countries. Because of the extra costs to export it people in other countries will pay 350 MRK for a pint. Which is still a very democratic price.

We would use advertisements to promote our product. In Merek advertising is used mainly to remain top of mind because it is the most dominant beer brand in the country. Our beer and the advertisement need to have a manly look and feel because only men are allowed to drink alcohol in our country. To promote our sales overseas we need to invest in a marketing campaign that will enhance our brand awareness and has a call to action.
